Field Trip Preparation
 Behavior Expectations:
  • clean, neat, modest and well groomed
  • on your "best behavior"
  • school rules apply
  • representing the whole town of New Lothrop

Itinerary:
  • Students are assigned to 4-6 person teams with a chaperone at NL prior to leaving for the Theater
  • Bus to IMAX Theater
  • Bus to Lunch at the International Center on Shaw Lane (Crossroads Food Court)
  • Five minute walk to MSU Museum (across Red Cedar river using pedestrian bridge​ to MSU Museum)
  • Bus Pickup at Museum and return to New Lothrop

Teams
Exhibit/Assignment Previews
  • Ground Floor: Hall of Evolution
  • 1st Floor: Heritage Hall
  • 2nd Floor: Habitat Hall and Hall of Animal Diversity
Museum Goals:
  • Teams will be Assigned Starting Floors
    Required Activity + Challenge Activity (challenge activity just once)

  • Move to another floor
    Perform Required Activity Only on additional floors
    Complete the Required Activity on as many floors as time permits

Challenge Activity:
Create a Video or wrote a Story about our field trip (including priority vocabulary words) at school in Art class on Thursday and Science class on Friday
after the Field Trip
